exocet® Gas Oil Conditioner
Exocet® Gas Oil Conditioner provides an all-in-one treatment for gas oil. It will improve day to day running of diesel engines and will stabilise fuel during storage.
Typical applications are agricultural and horticultural machinery, construction equipment, standby generators, airport vehicles and fork lift trucks.
Use of this additive in gas oil or diesel helps to ensure the engine manufacturers’ expectations on fuel quality.

Each 1 litre bottle treats up to 2,000 litres of fuel and the additive
can be added to bulk storage or directly into the vehicle or
vessel tank.

Benefits
An increase in the fuel’s cetane number – reduces
ignition delay in diesel engines. It improves overall
combustion efficiency leading to improved emissions
quality, lower noise and an increase in power.
Promotes and maintains a clean fuel delivery system
via the inclusion of a deposit control additive, this
keeps the fuel injectors clean giving optimum fuel flow,
combustion and emissions quality. Continued use will
clean up a dirty system.
An increase in the fuel’s shelf life fuel left to stand
quickly oxidises with the potential to form deposits in
tanks and fuel delivery systems, FAME-containing fuels
are particularly susceptible to this. The additive slows
the oxidation and allows for safe, longer term storage.
An increase in the fuel’s lubricity an unintended
consequence of the sulphur removal process is a
reduction in the fuel’s natural lubricity leading to
excessive or premature wear in fuel pumps and injection
equipment. Exocet Gas Oil Conditioner compensates for
this to provide trouble-free equipment operation.
An increase in the fuel’s resistance to microbial
contamination fuel tanks are prime breeding grounds
for all manner of micro-organisms – ‘diesel bugs’. If left
unchecked these quickly multiply creating fuel sludge,
blocking filters and stop engines. Regular use of the
additive provides a maintenance dose of fuel biocide.
An increase in the fuel’s resistance to water pick-
up fuel naturally takes-up water and this process
is enhanced by an increase in humidity and FAME
(biodiesel). The results are, at best, a reduction in the
energy content of the fuel and, at worst, the creation of
fuel-water emulsions. The additive promotes continuous
fuel-water separation and will break emulsions giving
optimum fuel quality.
Prevents the agglomeration of biodiesel precipitates
that are often the cause of filter blocking and fuel
starvation in the engine.
